Lucy That Sings poster for the launch party for Champagne By The Pool on 27th August 2026 at Le Pub, Newport
Independent Welsh singer-songwriter Lucy Shore, a.k.a. “Lucy That Sings”, has announced she will be hosting an event on Thursday 27th August 2026 to celebrate her upcoming song release Champagne By The Pool with an exclusive night of live music at Le Pub, Newport.

Nominated for best solo artist at the Radio Wigwam 2026 awards, her songs about life and love weave authentic, personal lyrics with melodies and harmonies that soar - with radio stations across the globe showing them love. Be among the first to hear her tracks played live with a full band of hand-selected guest musicians, including favourites Trade It For Freedom, Against My Own Advice, and this summer's disco-style track What Would You Love Me To Say?.

Get ready for upbeat, toe-tapping acoustic pop opening the evening from local singer-songwriter Rhys Hone (social media's own Welsh Cowboy), followed by rock and pop covers band We Are The Lost Boys, much loved in venues and festivals across Bristol and south Wales.  Be prepared though - their shows can cause spontaneous dancing!

The final stages of recording Champagne By The Pool were finished in early July at Northhouse Studios, with Newport producer Jon Greening mixing and mastering the single which will be released the day after the party, on 28th August.

“I’m so excited to be having my launch party at Le Pub - it’s a real homecoming for me to be performing in Newport.  Spending time in rehearsals and sharing the stage with such talented musicians is just amazing, I’m having the best time getting ready for this!” says Lucy.  She also reveals that she has been enjoying collaborating with local businesses Kin & Ilk, New Pastures Home and others, to curate a bespoke selection of treats for those on the guest list.

Doors open at 7.30pm - tickets are £8 in advance, £10 on the door. Get them here
